Christmas Cheer

My kids are really excited about Christmas, but I’m struggling to find the Christmas cheer this year. Most of the Christmas presents are bought or made, and I’ve made Christmas outfits for the kids. The Christmas tree is up and I don’t have to worry too much about Christmas dinner since we’ll be spending Christmas at my parents’ house. But still, I’m struggling to feel the Christmas spirit. Am I just a Grinch?

Maybe reflecting on Christmas projects from previous years might bring on the cheer:

I do love my Merry Christmas Banner. Sparkly fabric is a must-have for Christmas decorations. It makes me smile whenever I look at it, hanging above the back door.

I haven’t hung up my Paper Christmas Wreath yet. I wonder where it is?

My indoor winter wonderland didn’t get taken down all year – oops!

Oh, I wish I hadn’t left her Felt Mistletoe Hairclip in Celeste’s hair when she had a nap, two years ago. The leaves got pulled off – sigh. Well, at least I’ve got a tutorial, so I can make another one!

I’m still in love with the fabric for the family Santa Sacks. Such bright happiness!

OK, I feeling a bit more merry and bright (maybe I need Christmas music!). I’ve also realised I have no homemade tree decorations, kids crafts, stockings or food gifts. I’ve got some work to do!
