Time for a Change

I’ve done it! I’ve take the big leap from Blogger to WordPress. Cook Clean Craft is all grown up now!

So what does this mean to you?

Hopefully, nothing! My blog design is a little bit different, but not a whole lot. There may be a glitch or two as the world-wide web catches up to the change (you may find yourself at the old blogger website), but my web address and RSS/email feeds haven’t changed. If you notice anything weird happening, please let me know (cookcleancraft AT gmail.com).

I’ve been thinking about transferring for a while. When I started getting a few strange things (malware) happening on the blogger site, I took the plunge. In setting up the WordPress site, I found out where the problems were coming from. I’d gone too far to go back though, so here I am.

I’m amazed at how smoothly the whole process went. Would you like more details of how I did it? I’m not sure how many of you are interested in this kind of thing…

While I’m at it, with the demise of Google Reader, it’s taken me a while to catch up, but I’m finally claiming my blog at Bloglovin. So click here to follow Cook Clean Craft with Bloglovin.

Onwards to Christmas

So that’s my news for today. I’m quietly crafting away making Christmas presents, and wondering if it’s time for posts on the festive season. I’m just not quite feeling it yet.

How are your Christmas preparations going? Are you organised or waiting for December?

  1. I’d live to hear more about the switch! As for Xmas- I’ve compiled a list of inspiration on my blog, and have all my materials- now I just need time/motivation!

  2. Yay. Welcome aboard. Did you buy a theme? I didn’t and find the free one fine. My sister bought one and while she has much more control it’s taking a lot of man hours to set up. Looks great though and has a shop etc. I’m glad you’re,on Bloglovin too. If I find it really good.
In other news, yes do tell us about the conversion.
I also am trying get into the spirit. I think I need to make lists so I can get inspired and work out what to make for whom. X
