Granny Square Christmas stocking ornament
When it comes to Christmas decorating, I love traditional colours (red and green) and a handmade touch. Each year, I make a few ornaments to add to the tree (because I never have time to make more than that!). This year, it’s a granny square Christmas stocking ornament.
Granny squares are a great beginner crochet pattern, and an ornament size is quick and easy. No spending 3 years on this crochet project.
A packet of Lifesavers lollies fits nicely inside, if you’re looking to hang a treat on the Christmas tree. You could also hide a scroll of paper for an e-gift card inside.
Here’s the free pattern for how to crochet a granny square Christmas stocking ornament.
