Peaches and Cream Barbie
Today, I’m over at The Train to Crazy as part of the Handmade Costumes series.
Last year, I made the Gigglemobile for my son (and both my kids still love it, although it desperately needs some panel-beating!). This year, it’s time for a costume for my little girl, and what’s more girly than Barbie – more specifically:
Head over to The Train to Crazy for the full tutorial, but firstly, here’s some more photos here (with some bloopers!):
The slightly broken down doll-look – very Tyra!
I’m not sure I want to be doing this anymore, Mum!
Maybe I’ll be a bit happier if I put my fireman hat on (aka a Tupperware container!)
Slightly better, but still not so sure…
Oh no, starting to go downhill…
Alas, the poor fair maiden is quite distressed!
Big brother, you are not helping matters…
Look, I’m trying my best to be patient. Can we just get this over with?
Maybe I’ll just hide behind this stole.
And finally, later that day…
My too-cool Peaches and Cream Barbie princess!
Don’t forget to head over to the Train to Crazy for the tutorial!
My sisters and I had the p&c Barbie, I squealed when I saw your costume project, absolutely adorable
too cute!! I remember peaches and cream barbie! I was so envious of her frothy, amazing outfit.
